Practice & Membership
Tell me about your new practice.
This practice is built around one belief: women in midlife deserve a physician who has time for them. Starting September 2026, I’m transitioning Lotus Gynecology where I’ve cared for women in Austin for the past eighteen years to a membership-based practice capped at approximately 200 members. The women I care for are rarely dealing with just one thing. Hormone changes, sleep, sexual health, and long-term preventive needs often arrive together, woven into lives that are already full. You deserve a physician with the time and expertise to look at the full picture. My practice was designed to make that possible.
How does your practice differ from a standard OB/GYN or primary care practice?
I’m a board-certified OB/GYN and gynecologic surgeon. As your physician, I provide comprehensive midlife women’s health care perimenopause and menopause screening, hormone management, sexual wellness, weight management, and preventive gynecologic care within one continuous relationship. When you come in, you will always see me, not a nurse practitioner, not a physician assistant, and not another doctor. If you ever need a specialist or surgical care, I’ll coordinate that personally and stay closely involved so nothing gets missed.
How does the membership work, and what does it include?
This is a membership-based practice. You pay an annual fee for comprehensive, continuous care instead of being billed per visit through insurance. Membership includes your annual comprehensive wellness exam, up to 8 follow-up visits per year (in-person or telehealth), 10% off aesthetic and wellness services at Alchemy, and so much more. Take a look at the Membership Details section on the home page for more info.
Lab tests, imaging, hospital and surgery center services, surgical procedures, medications, and other third-party services are not included in the membership fee and may be billed separately through your insurance. A full services list is available by contacting membership@saimajehangirmd.com.
How is the membership fee paid?
The entire membership fee does not need to be paid upfront. Most members pay on a semi-annual or quarterly basis. You can enroll online and select the option that works best for you.
Can I add a daughter to my membership?
Yes. Daughters of members who are 26 or younger may be seen on a cash fee-for-service basis without a separate membership. This allows your daughter to access care for an annual wellness exam or routine follow-up visit without needing to enroll on her own. Please contact the practice for current visit fees and details.
Why is membership-based care worth it?
Research consistently shows that high-touch, relationship-based care leads to meaningful reductions in hospitalizations, readmissions, ER visits, stroke, and heart attacks. When your physician knows your full history, catches things early, and stays engaged with your care over time, the outcomes are measurably better.
In this practice, Dr. Jehangir will have the time to truly work closely with you, not just during appointments, but as your care evolves. If you’re on the fence, consider trying it for a year. If you’re not satisfied after a year, Dr. Jehangir will help you find another trusted physician locally.
How can I enroll?
Enrollment is intentionally limited and is first-come, first-served. Once the practice reaches capacity, a waitlist will be established. To enroll, click the enroll button on this site or call to speak with my membership team directly.
